Cakes

I have been making cakes for a very long time, but wedding cakes I have been dabbling in for 3 years, and I LOVE it!!! I love having the artistic leeway to make someone's day absolutely beautiful. I made my own wedding cake, it was the first one I did, and I have to say I learned alot from making it..but it just made my desire to make other's cakes stronger. So I will be posting a few pictures of my past occasion cakes, and then we will get into the different flavors and prices as well.

This is my wedding cake, my first cake!! It was 2 layers of vanilla and chocolate cake with a vanilla buttercream frosting, and the middle layer was artificial. I dyed the fondant and made the beautiful pincushion top layer. I loved my cake, it was beautiful and delicious. I learned alot from making this cake, and from the small imperfections that I ran into having with this cake.

This is a wedding cake for a very special young lady that I did right after my wedding cake. The top and bottom tier were made of french vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream icing. I made the pink ribbon edging out of fondant as well as the pearls. This is one of my favorite cakes because of the fact that this was my creation!! The bride gave me her colors and an idea and let me run with it, she was pleasantly surprised at her wedding, and it made it all the more special. I do like to request some creative leeway with my brides so there is somewhat less stress, and so that there is a small element of surprise for the bride and groom on their beautiful day. This cake was $400

This cake was one of the more difficult ones to make, It was just butter cream icing with a little texture, and black fondant pearls and rounds. This cake the top and bottom were real cake and the middle was artificial. It was $300.00

This is a birthday cake that I did for a friend for her daughter's 1st birthday, it was so much fun to make and create something so artistic and fun. She gave me some ideas on colors and let me run with it, and it was a blast!!! The cake was just a 12 inch  french vanilla with a vanilla buttercream, covered in fondant. The cost of this cake was $100.00

This is an 8 inch smash cake. I had so much fun making this one, it was for a birthday party, and the mom gave me the idea and let me kind of add to it a bit. This cake was $65
